HAZMAT First Responder (Operations Level)

Purpose of the Course:

This Course is aimed to equip Personnel from Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting, Airlines Staff, Cabin & Cockpit Crew, Ground Handling Agents, Cargo Handlers, Personnel employed in HAZMAT & DG Manufacturing Plants & Freight Forwarders with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes required to respond to a dangerous goods incident in a safe and effective manner in accordance with First Responders Guide to Hazmat Emergencies

Learning Objectives:

After successful completion of this Course, the Participants will be able to :

1. Appreciate the Classification of HAZMAT & Dangerous Goods
2.  Identify the Labelling and placards of HAZMAT & Dangerous Goods
3. Perform basic control, containment, and/or confinement operations as a response to a Dangerous Goods incident
4.  Prepare the Incident Report
